Director
Dr Ove Hoegh-Guldberg is a senior lecturer in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Sydney. In addition to teaching marine science at the University of Sydney, Dr Hoegh-Guldberg runs an active research group on One Tree Island. His research interests span the ecology and physiology of corals and the biochemistry of larval development. He has been Director of One Tree Island Research Station since 1992.
Chairman (Advisory Council)
Professor Frank H. Talbot is an authority on marine fish and coral reefs. He is Director Emeritus of the National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, USA, from which he retired as Director in 1995. He is the past Director of the Australian Museum and the California Academy of Sciences. He was the founding Professor of the Graduate School of the Environment at Macquarie University; and is presently a Visiting Professor in that school, the School of Biological Sciences and the Marine Studies Centre at the University of Sydney
